After watching the clip, lead a classroom discussion using the following questions. Keep in mind, these questions are meant to help the students explore the creation of media, while also teaching the common core standards listed on my home page.
Place all questionS to be used for the activity on the board where all of the students can see them. Use a soft, or squishy ball for the students to throw to one another. When a student catches the ball it is their turn to answer a question. They then ask the next question, and throw the ball to another student. The questions are grouped into before, during and after categories, so keep each group covered until you are ready to discuss them. The whole clip is posted if you would like to do more questions, but for this lesson we will only be using the clip starting at 3 minutes, and ending at 6 minutes!
Teacher notes are found in blue, Hypothetical questions in green, and hypothetical students answers in red.
